Some numbers for you !!! As of today.

Alltime Orrville record in this the 101st year for the Red Riders 594 wins 354 losses 41 ties

Alltime Wooster record in this their 111th season, only 538 wins , but 468 losses and 51 ties

The ( cough, cough ) Generals actually won 68 games from 1980 to 1989 , and lost 34. They dominated from 1990 to 1999 with 21 wins and 79 losses, and have been 63 and 49 in the 12 seasons, 2000 to 2011, With 2 trips ( and stumbles) in the playoffs under the excellent McCreary coaching!!!!

***** All information obtained from the Wooster sports blog website ............. no wait that's a lie I haven't found a Wooster sports website, probably buried under the speech and debate and bands sites :p

Not to go all BRF on you, but your post would have made more sense if it had read, "Wasn't that a great story?"

riders1,
I couldnt find Wooster's win record anywhere...but knew they had 443 wins through 1988. Got an email from Mike Breckenridge saying they have 538 wins going into this week.

Not sure what is accurate....but it is kind of sad that there's no Wooster resource for this kind of info.

Yawn.............oh..........I'm awake. And yes, I am still pissed about the thread title and the intro. What a sorry way to introduce a big game like this. Not to go all "Ringz" on anyone, but in case you n00bs didn't know, Wooster kicked donkey last Friday night.

RR1 and riders1: I'll bet that Wooster "padded" some wins WAY back in the day. When teams were just starting out, there was a lot of "fudging". Not by us, though! ;)

Life must be pretty good at the BRF household if he can obsess over a thread on an internet message board for almost a week now. Get a hobby dude.

To answer the question as to why there might not be an online record of all the fantastic accomplishments of the Wooster athletes, see people over here have jobs, and when not working enjoy a myriad of cultural and athletics events at The College of Wooster, they go to the cinema (picture show for you BRF), or enjoy eating at one of the fine restaurants here in town (a minority of which include a salad bar). So we here in Wooster don't have time to enter data about our high school sports teams into a computer. Now in Orrville where all there is to do is talk high school sports or go to the Mexican soccer store, you can find all the information you desire.

I do those things...job, 2 kids, social life....and i still manage. That's weak sauce, ringz. If you're 100% serious in that response, I'd say I'd expect more of you.

Why doesn't a school group manage such an endeavor under the eye of an advisor? I know there was a WoosterGenerals.com site last year...it was good....but it's now vanished. Perhaps some band parents hacked the site?

Good Lord ...

I was trying to keep the pot stirred. Just last week you all were complaining about the lack of banter back and forth with fans of opposing teams on this site.

In all honesty there probably is no Wooster stats site because someone suggested it, there were 19 committee meetings about it, the booster club and the athletic department got into an argument about the site and who would get any revenue the site generated, and whose picture would appear on the site. That seems to be the way crap works over here.

And you are correct about band parents...they are sneaky.

The guy that ran the www.woostergenerals.com website was a douche and took himself way too seriously. He lost any (and trust me, there was much) credibility he had when the jackass said that firing Gallagher and Pilsitz in girls basketball was a great move for Amy Sexton who couldn't win if her life depended on it. There is obviously only one choice for someone to run a Wooster site...and that my friends is me.
