Nerlens Noels (#1 player) didn't get an invite he reclassified too late...someone wanna explain what the H that means?
As far as I can tell he wants to pull a Andre Dawkins and go to college a year early and didnt get all the paper work in time.

Noel was a 2012 recruit. That's where he started. He re-classified to 2013, but then went back to 2012. He is actually of age (or older) along with everyone else in the class.

That was really awful lol

3.8 is enough to catch at mid court and get off a good shot

I watched the second half, and it was the sloppiest game I've seen since high school.

I'm switching over from the ND thread just in case anyone actually wants to talk Irish basketball.
SportsAndLady;1081658 wrote:Vandy, MSU, and Bama? Lol come on..

I mean it's your opinion so it's kinda pointless to argue this.

We hear EVERY year about Vandy, they never do shit. Bama has some MISERABLE losses this year, and ZERO good wins. Mississippi State I guess is alright, but...

Idk, I guess I just don't see it
Bama has 1 really bad loss. Dayton is looking questionable, but it isn't that bad. They beat Wichita State, Purdue, and VCU out of conference.

I said Vandy was the most overrated team in the country heading into the year when they were ranked #7, so I don't love them by any means. They aren't top 10, but they're a solid 5/6 seed. They beat NC State, Marquette, Middle Tennessee State, and Davidson out of conference. They do choke in the tournament though.

MSU probably has the least impressive OOC resume of them (Arizona and WVU with a loss to Akron), but they definitely have talent.

Iowa State lost to Drake and Northern Iowa and their best OOC win is Iowa. They've got nothing outside of the B12.

Kansas State beat Alabama and Long Beach State and doesn't have any terrible losses. I'd say they're the 4th best team in the B12, but both them and ISU will realistically lose 3-4 more conference games.

Texas beat Temple and... who? UCLA? They lost to Oregon State and they're 1-6 against the top 5 in the conference. They really aren't a tournament team, but might benefit from a really weak bubble.

But it probably is pointless to keep arguing, because we obviously aren't going to agree about it.

Those SEC teams haven't beaten anyone though, that's my point. And they've all (minus MSU) had bad losses--don't give me UD isn't a bad loss--that's a fucking bad loss.

Kansas State has a win against Missouri. Iowa State has a win against Kansas. Texas doesn't have an impressive win, but I don't think UT is any good so.

Those 3 Big 12 teams are better than those 3 SEC teams.

And the Big 12 as a whole is better than the SEC--which was our main point.

Is the Baylor/Missouri game a B12 Network game or something? I can't find it in my TV listings.

Syracuse pulled away in the 2nd half to beat Uconn by 18 points 85-67. Scoop Jardine scored 21 points. Fab Melo sat for most of the 2nd half in foul trouble and then it was a blowout so Boeheim didn't have to put him back in.

Bost had 3 to win...came up short. UGA wins 70-68. Dawgs beat Arkansas and Mississippi State in the same week.

Other results of note...mostly possible bubble teams...

Tough loss for Cleveland State, losing at home to Butler. Really hurts any small chance they had at an at-large bid.

Losing their 10th overall and now 6-7 (falling to Louisville) in the Big East, West Virginia is also in trouble. At Notre Dame and at Pittsburgh upcoming, they might be done by next weekend.

Miami is now 6-4 (losing their 8th overall) as they drop one at home to Florida State. The Canes still have UNC and FSU at home, and despite that, should go at worst 3-3, possibly 4-2 in the ACC. 10-6 in the league would get them in most likely.

Connecticut falls for the 8th time in 11 tries, losing at the Cuse. The Huskies still have vs PITT, vs MARQ and vs CUSE, all at home. If they can somehow rally to win 2 of those, they should be able to finish 5-1 or 4-2.

St. Louis will get to 20 wins if they hold on over LaSalle.
Arizona is hanging on late against Utah.
VCU is up late at Old Dominion, a win and they are in complete control of the Colonial.
Cincinnati down 12 to Marquette at halftime.

Texas over Kansas State, both now 6-6 in the Big XII.
St. Louis holds on to beat LaSalle.
VCU wins at Old Dominion, Arizona over Utah.
Davidson getting ripped in Charleston, down 14 in the 2nd half.
Cincinnati down 9 to Marquette in the 2nd half.
Florida down big early at home against Tennessee.
