UK no first place votes, but the 3 teams around them got them. No Mich St in the polls and only 3 Big 10 teams, wow.

'SEC teams are highlighted because I got it from the SEC rant'

I'd be surprised if UNC didn't win the championship this year. They are freakin' stacked.

With that, if I'm the Buckeyes, I go out there and win the whole damn thing. #shocktheworld

Not sure why that's wow. There's 2 ACC, 3 Pac-12, 4 Big 12, and 4 SEC teams. It's pretty balanced.

There were 4 or 5, but Purdue lost a ton, Michigan State wasn't very good last year and lost some guys, Illinois was supposed to be good and lost some people, so Ohio State, Wisconsin, and Michigan seem right.

Kansas shouldn't be 13..I was thinking more like 25'ish.

They're gonna struggle without Traylor and Mclemore

There were 4 I think. Pretty sure Wisconsin wasn't ranked to start the season last year.

I personally think Michigan State should be ranked and Michigan probably not, but 3 teams seems about right.

Went to the Duke game last night. It's gonna be an interesting season. I anticipate 4-5 ACC losses in a down year for the league. If Doug Gottlieb thought the 2010 group was "alarmingly un-athletic" he is going to enjoy this. Bellarmine (a d2 school from Kentucky) spread out the defense and penetrated to the rim all game long. When the defense was broken down they smartly kicked out for three. I can only imagine what ACC opponents will do to the Devils.

Also, for the first time in years, Duke will likely struggle scoring the basketball. Curry is a good player, but isn't yet capable of creating for himself. Rivers creates for himself but does little else offensively, and Dawkins seems lost early.

Lots of work to do, but there is definitely potential there. Starting Mason Miles and Kelly, there are 3 6'10" players on the floor. The front court will definitely be a strength on paper, unsure if it will be a strength on the court.

Kansas in the news again but for the wrong reasons. Guards Tyshawn Taylor and Elijah Johnson suspended 2 exhibition games for violating team rules.

UC is back this year folks. We actually were back last year, making it to the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament. The 'Cats are in the preseason top 25 right now and have been predicted to finish 5th in the conference. Here's a nice clip highlighting some moments in Bearcat basketball lore.

Yeah well they only have about 25 schools in the conference. They are the SEC of college basketball, always overrated.

Tony Parker was on campus at Duke this weekend as well. Kid is a monster. Reminds me of Elton Brand a bit in terms of body type.

AP Preseason All-Americans are out.

Jordan Taylor
Harrison Barnes
Jeremy Lamb
Jared Sullinger
Terrence Jones

Four sophomores and a senior. Sullinger was unanimous.

Kansas has really gotten smoked on the recruiting trail lately.

Nice pick up for Stanford. Saw Allen play last year a few times as he's the sidekick for Shabazz Muhammad. Nice player. 4-year guy, but has a great all-around game.

As for Willie Cauley, the 2nd top 30 commit for Calipari this year, and still 5 or 6 more considering UK. He will definitely still end up with a top 3 class, possibly #1 if Shabazz comes to UK.

I am pumped to watch UC this year. Definitely the dark horse team of the Big East.

Kansas never really has top 5 recruiting classes..they had a good class this year, but their top 2 players ( including a 5 star) are now ineligible for the season lol never helps..

I'm hoping Shabazz is a Jayhawk

Another blow for KU as Tarczewski choses UofA. The rich get richer, we have the chance for one of the best classes in recent history this year. #4, #6, #9 and #36 according to ESPN's rankings.

Didn't even know Shabazz was considering KU. I must be out of the recruiting loop.

Is he still high on UCLA?
