I guess if they go 2-1. However, G-Town could go 3-0. Now that I look at it, they own the tiebreaker over G-Town so good chance UC finishes top 4 if they go 2-1. G-Town has to go to Marquette.

Colorado is a joke ( as is the Pac 12 in general). They were shit in the Big 12. Essentially the same team, but are now a bubble team in the shitty pac 12. Ha.

Mayyyyybe Cal...but they lost to everyone OOC they should have (UNLV, Missouri, SDSU), and had some bad losses in conference (Oregon State, Washington State).

They only have 2 wins over a top 50 RPI team, and that's Oregon twice lol not exactly great wins.

They lost at home this year to Houston(sub .500). Yes, I realize it was their home arena, but still in Ark. Last nite was their 3rd home loss of season, as well as 2nd straight home loss. Which is more impressive to me than what KU has done just for the simple fact Duke has to go against UNC in the ACC every year.

The ACC determines it's conference champion based on the conf. tournament winner. Which is fine, but it's COMPLETELY different than a regular season champion. To win the conf. tourney, you have to win what? 4 games in a row? A regular season conference champion is sustained success over the course of 3 months. And Kansas has done that EIGHT years in a row. Think about that for a second. In a conference that is generally amongst the top 4 in the country, one team has won it 8 consecutive years. To me, that's more impressive than winning a conference tournament 10 of 13 years (which btw, is an incredible accomplishment).

Also, Duke and UNC rarely meet in the conference championship. So cbf when you say "for the simple fact Duke has to go against UNC in the ACC every year" that's completely false.

They have actually met 4 times in the past years in the ACC Championship game and a couple other times in the Semis.

No, because quite frankly, KU dominance is a combination of them being good, and no one else challenging them in the conference. Yes, its impressive. But they don't have anyone else in that conference who has been consistantly good to step up and challenge on any given year. Not taking anything away from Kansas, because they are Kansas. They are almost always going to be good. But you can't say that about anyone else in the conference consistantly. I would equate this to OSU in the 2000's in football. Yes, they were good. But UM was aweful, and there was no one else who consistantly would challenge them. Thus part of their dominance in the Big10. And please don't twist this any other way. Not taking anything away from KU. As its obvious they are and have been good.

But your reasoning for thinking Duke's 10 of 13 is better than Kansas' 8 straight is because they've had to go against UNC every year in order to accomplish that. Which is COMPLETELY and 100% false.

Only 3 times did they in fact beat UNC to win the conference crown. 1 time UNC beat them.

Florida State, Georgia Tech, Boston College, NC State....not exactly world beaters. Certainly lower programs than what Kansas has to go against the past 8 years THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE CONFERENCE SEASON (not just a tournament at the end of the season).

I agree with SportsandLady simply because winning a regular season conference championship is more difficult than winning a conference tournament championship. The road is longer and true road games are part of the equation.

Regular season champions exhibit sustained excellence. Tournament champions show 4 day excellence.There is no comparison between the two.

Exactly. Not diminishing anything Duke has done in the conf. tourneys. It's an unreal feat to win 10 of 13 conference tournaments.

But 8 straight regular season titles is a testament to the entire season (at least in the conference), not just a 4 day span in March.

WVU fights back, Marquette misses some FT's (they were up 61-56) and now WVU can win down 1.

Bryant drives, air ball, Marquette wins 61-60. Going to be tough for WVU now.
