The bill was $28, and the customer didn't leave a tip. He proceeded to write on the bottom "You could afford to lose a few pounds."

1. The restaurant is called Bimbos Cantina, so you'd assume to have some attractive waitresses ala Hooters.

2. She was a little chubby, so the dude wasn't lying.

3. Could she possibly have a lawsuit on her hands by releasing personal information of a customer? That would be awesome for being such a pouty bitch.

4. Just because you're a waitress =/= you deserve a tip. Maybe she was shitty and didn't deserve a tip.
- I know we've had this discussion before, but I hate it when servers think they "deserve" a tip regardless of service.

It's a tip it's not mandatory to pay one. If she were hot she would've gotten a good tip.

He probably won't sue due to the backlash he would get by coming forward and all about writing that. But I agree I hate it when people in the service industries feel like they deserve a tip. Yesterday at Frickers all our waitress ever did was take our order and get our waters and then give us our bill when we were done. Another waitress delivered our appetizers, food, beers, took care of our refills. I left our original waitress a dollar tip and gave the other lady who did ever thing else 3 bucks once I found her. Our original waitress saw me do it and gave me a pretty dirty look I just smiled at her lol.

And yes I would have tipped that chick if she gave good service.

So this chick starts an uproar and a bunch of innocent guys have to listen to shit because they are mistaken for the wrong guy? Seems to me like she is the one who should be catching the heat.

He does sound like a douche, but what he did only affected one other person. She's the one that made a big deal out of it.

...I never thought about this until you posted it. I've to different places like Ruby Tuesday's and it IS a different person who brings the food & refills than who takes the order. I have in the past just left a tip on the table and guessed they all split the tips at the end of the night. From now on I'm going to split my tips based on service and how friendly they act.

Eh most of the time its the same person for me just last night it wasn't and our waitress was kinda a bitch anyway. I always base my tips off of the service I get then if shes hot I throw in a little extra lol.

I'm not saying the guy was a complete douche. In all honesty, it wasn't the most appropriate thing to say. However, if ^^that was your waitress at Hooters, would you complain?
