PS3 has Hulu+, Netflix, Vudu, and the NFL, NHL, and MLB packages... It also has a very solid movie/rental service of it's own within the PS Store, plus it's a blu-ray.

If people like the 360, that's cool.. But there is no way the 360 offers you a better package than the PS3.

As far as sports games, I prefer the PS3 controller to the 360 controller for them. As for FPS, I'll admit the 360 controller is a bit better.

I had 2 360s die on me. My second one died 2 weeks after my warranty expired and they would not replace it. I sold everything I had for like 50 bucks and then bought a ps3

minus the blu-ray, the 360 has just about all of that. plus i wonder how often those services are actually used.

I don't think the controllers matter at all...I use both with ease.

Xbox live and its ease of use is what Microsoft does best.

Bluray is what Sony offers.

The thing that pissed me off is that games that are on both systems, always look better on the xbox...because they do a piss poor job sometimes porting to ps3.

I guess I didn't realize that the PS3 had some of the same features. I thought there were some that were xbox exclusive (like YouTube is right?). The services are awesome. I plan on saving big bucks staying away from cable (or dish) now that I have HuluPlus. I could even splurge a little bit and go with Netflix and still be under a cable bill -- probably won't go with Netflix though. Ever since we got HuluPlus, my wife now is thrilled about the xbox...and she's used it every day since we've gotten HuluPlus. And now she's happy she can watch her dumb shows -- makes for less FIFA time though...:(.

I got my xbox back after the RROD after about a week or so too. There's no way it'll take 2-3 months.

As for the media stuff, the fall update for Xbox is bringing a lot of new providers: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Live/Partners

Youtube, xfinity, Vevo, FIOS TV, UFC, Today Show, TMZ, SyFy, MSN, Manga, iHeartRadio, HBO GO, EPIX, Dailymotion, Crackle, CinemaNow, Bravo, etc.

Both the 360 and PS3 are awesome media devices these days.
