Something seems a little off with these people in the farmhouse. What the hell is Glenn doing getting lowered in the well with the fat Michilen baby? They will find Sophia eventually, either alive or in walker form.

No way Otis is a walker. He's gonna feed the herd for a few days.Laley23;952231 wrote:This, but also if you shoot him in the head and anyone ever sees/finds Otis, they would know. With him being a Walker now, Shanes secret is 100% safe.

But thanks for telling me that I don't have to watch it. I had no idea...I thought I was required to keep tuning in.
I'm not saying I don't like the show. Just that this plot line is starting to drag on. I'm ready for them to get past it and see the show progress from here. Jesus, you would think I pissed on your mom's face with how defensive you got with my OPINION on a TV SHOW.
I always find it funny when somebody gets called out they feel the need to respond with a story. I also find it funny when said person says somebody got defensive.
The only person getting defensive, is yourself. I just simply stated, if you don't like the show, don't watch.
hope this helps

I was hoping Merl would reappear but I think its been too long for him to come back now. Hopefully they find the girl in some form because I'm getting tired of her in the storyline. Also, whats this michilen baby you guys are talking about? I must have missed that part.

I was starting to wonder if I might have dozed off or hit the fast foward button for an extra second or two after commercial, thanks for confirming gorocks.

Yea that promo definitely gives me the feeling that the family they are hanging out with are a bunch of creepers. I have a feeling the next ep will be the best of the season.

I'm most looking forward to that bra scene. I'm getting sick of jacking off to zombies.

I tore through the books in about 4 days. I wish I would have read them before I ever saw the show, but both the show and the books are definitely good.

How much of the comics does the show actually follow?

My understanding is that the comics are more of an inspiration for the show, but the story lines and characters are not identical.silverknights09;953435 wrote:How much of the comics does the show actually follow?

As Quint said, some of the characters and events are different. Some loosely parallel the books. It's hard to say how much it will continue to follow it. Season 1 was essentially book 1, and there are 14 (and soon to be 15) books out.
I watched "Talking Dead" one evening, and Robert Kirkman (one of the writers) was on. He pretty much said they want it to be different enough from the book that the people who have read them will still have surprises.

Good, I dont want a TV show to mirror a book the way I want a movie to do so.sej;954075 wrote:As Quint said, some of the characters and events are different. Some loosely parallel the books. You dont suppose those farm people are feeding people to the Michilen man down in the well do you? like they lost someone to the fever and put then in the well bc they didnt have the sack to put them down?

That's kind of what I was thinking. That seems a little cliche though; feels like that happens a lot in movies. Maybe that's why the doctor asked if Carl is was bit. I can see him saying "Well, if he's bit, you can throw him down this well we got. We've jot Jabba The Hut in our well, and he hadn't eaten in in pert near 5 days."Heelz;954484 wrote:You dont suppose those farm people are feeding people to the Michilen man down in the well do you? like they lost someone to the fever and put then in the well bc they didnt have the sack to put them down?

Boston Pancake?
Chili Dog?
What some consider a Cleveland Steamer?
OR instead of her chest, does she like an Alabama Hot Pocket?
