there have been numerous threads on who you THINK will win,or SHOULD win,the Heisman Trophy this weekend, but who do you WANT to win? you don't need to support your choice with stats or anything like that, just pick a candidate...and please don't bash another posters' choice.

in case you've been out of the country the last few days, your candidates are Toby Gerhart,Mark Ingram,Tim Tebow,Colt McCoy or Ndamukong Suh.

for me,it's Colt McCoy ;)

I want either Suh or Gerhart. Each for different reasons. I think Suh would be cool because it would actually go to the best player, and he's a defensive lineman.

I think Gerhart would be cool because he's a white RB.

Suh. I like when someone besides a QB or a RB wins it.

Mark Ingram. He's worked very hard for this and was only really contained in Arkansas and Auburn.

Colt McCoy doesn't deserve shit. I'm sorry, but collegiate QB's shouldn't be turning the ball over in almost every game. I mean, he threw an INT in 8 of his first 9 games. Then, he goes up against Nebraska and throws 3 more INT's? Ridiculous, especially because they only won that game because Nebraska's offense could be the worst in the Big 12.

The voting should finish like this:

Ingram
Gerhart
Suh
McCoy
Tebow.

But It'll probably finish:

Ingram
McCoy
Gerhart
Suh
Tebow

Suh or Gerhart

Those are the 2 best players in the country this year on each side of the ball.

Suh or Gerhart or Ingram. In that order

All three deserve it, but Suh was a beast all year and it would restore my faith in the trophy that the most impactful player won.

I only saw 3 Nebraska games all year and in all of those games Suh was an absolute monster.

Anyone look at McCoys stats in his big games this year?

Oklahoma: 21-39 127 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
Oklahoma State: 16-21 171 yards, 1 TD
Nebraska: 20-36 184 yards, 3 INT

Hardly impressive, and hardly Heisman worthy IMO.

In that case, Terrelle Pryor. (I want him to be that good. He has a ways to go.)

Yep.

Seriously though. The system is messed up. I read that 85% had already cast their ballots before the game last sat.
