I'm gonna thread ban the next person who says "Notre Dame"

Now leave the Notre Dame stuff on the Notre Dame threads

I'd go to as far to say that we don't have a single ND grad on this forum.

I'm with the others that say Herron and Posey should be sent packing. Enough is enough. Can we please set a ****ing standard for the future? Like umm....IMMEDIATELY.
I spoke to one of Fickell's best friends prior to the season and he told me that Fickell wouldn't put up with the crap that Tressel did. Well that's obviously not the case. Not only did Fickell prove to everyone he can't coach, he also proved that he doesn't have any balls. I really have no clue how he let's these guys stick around.

Never understood why this bothered people. I know plenty of people that went to OSU that are fans of UNC or Duke in basketball. It's like saying a business major can't have an opinion on politics. It's a metter of preference and opinion. Who gives a $hit.

One would think a zero tolerance policy would be in effect...no? This whole thing is beyond embarrassing, it makes me ill.

It doesn't bother me. I thought it was funny. They were alway's quick to toot the ND acadamic horn, yet here they are on a Saturday afternoon in Columbus wearing their dumbass "Return to Glory" shirts.

That has nothing to do with anything. I didn't choose Ohio State for school based in the football team and I think that would be a bad strategy for anyone choosing a school. I was an ND fan long before it was time to pick a school.

lol seriously what the hell are you talking about? I'm sorry it bothers you that people who aren't OSU football fans choose to attend OSU.

Well they don't have my major or anything resembling my program.

I don't hate Ohio State. I love Ohio State. We've been other this before: I hate the amount of incompetent jackasses on the football team who ultimately make the school look like shit. Don't tell me that I didn't more or less call this two years ago.

At least a few of you are starting to hop on board the whole "kick these dumbasses off the team" wagon. That's a good start.

You hate OSU, yet you attended school there. You beam over Notre Dame's academics, yet you didn't go there.

It's more sad than anything else really.

I don't hate OSU. I had a good time there and went to every home game for 5 years. My issue is more with people that have no idea what happens in the sports world outside of Columbus. There are quite a few examples of those people on this thread.

And now back to the topic at hand . . .

Verlon Reed is out for the season with a torn ACL. Seriously, this can't get much worse. Now we can't even pretend to have a passing game.

Wrong.
Ok.....go on...

I stand by my statement...not one ND grad on this board.

My issue is with people who think this stuff only occurs in Columbus and not at their favorite school.....and the people who still think the NCAA is an advocate for the college athlete and athletics. It used to be...but it hasn't been for a long long time. It still operates under this veil, generating huge amounts of money for all sorts of people and organizations while keeping the athlete as a low paid workers who can't even use their 'status' to earn spending money working a charitable event.

Amen to this.

Also...there wasn't much in the way of NCAA bashing on here until OSU got into trouble. Its amazing how much people dont care until it affects their precious Buckeyes.

And I graduated from Ashland...so I am perfectly qualified to talk about OSU and its fans in whatever way I choose.
