Looks like likely MVP Napoli is no more good to his team for this series.

Napoli trying to walk off a severe ankle creel at second....it looked awful....I puked a little.

Cards defense implodes. Rangers should have gotten none, but the Cards were lucky to get out of it giving up only one!

Texas can't stand prosperity and gives the Cards freebies for the first two batters getting on in the the 4th, and then a great upending of the double play try breaks up the DP and causes a wild throw, but it doesn't get away enough to score the tying run. But still on 3rd with less than two out with a good chance to score.

Next time Holliday takes it between the eyes....go in hard like he did is expected.....raising his arm into the upper thigh of Andrus was too much.

Punto has to swing at the curve with two strikes and the result lets you know why he didn't swing at it with less than two strikes!

Nice crisp pitchers duel with some solid defense.

Just like we expected.

Unearned runs flowing freely now! Poor play doesn't necessarily make it less exciting! Game has never been more than a one run separation!

I'm an AL guy, but I love the added NL strategy to this game, especially with everything on the line. Can't afford to give your pitchers many ABs in a do or die.

I wish I could get my wife to watch games with me. She was on that dark trip from Valley to SE high schools for soccer and VB with me, but never watched either game a bit - only reason she was with me was we were going to our daughter's home in Cincy afterwards!

Not gonna win too many games when you're sporting stats like this...

Cardinals have 3 errors in this game. They had 6 in their previous 16 games this postseason.

Cardinals 0-3 with RISP in this game. Now 1-19 with RISP in last 3 games (including tonight).

This is 4th time this postseason Cardinals SP has gone 3 IP or fewer.

Holland should not be used! Hello game 7.

Have Nolan go get warmed up.

My family is good with being around sports a ridiculous amount. My wife knows way more than most women I'll guarantee!.....which I never shut up during games so she's quite up to date on sports topics.

He did what to his ankle? Never heard that and looked up the definition and didn't see anything that applied. Then I saw this comment:

Kay Conley Craft · University of KentuckyHave you ever heard creel used for spraining an ankle, as "I creeled my ankle"?
