This could be a nice spark for the Pens.

At the same time the NHL's love affair with Crosby and his "rivalry" with Ovechkin takes away from the other great young players in the league.

Be ready to have Crosby shoved down our throats on what little coverage the NHL receives, while everyone else is ignored. And with Crosby comes the not so great 8!!!! Yipee

With they way OV has been playing lately I don't see them pushing that rivalry as much anymore. Sid has become the clear #1 best player in the world.

I don't think he could have had a better come back game. Any pens fans on here go to the game?

A friend in Pittsburgh told me once they made the official announcement that he was playing last night standard tickets shot up to 1k. Insane.

That is crazy. I wonder if other teams will start targeting him to see how healthy he really is. I would be worried that he gets another one.

Would have been better if it was against his boogieman, Montreal. They always have his/Pens numbers.

They talked about this on The Herd this morning about how the NHL will maybe do something to try and protect him. Whether is be telling teams to not target him, creating different rules, or pretty much anyone who targets him and if they gave him another one might not be staying in the league very long.

Tickets going up to 1k is pretty crazy especially since the game was against pretty much the worst team in the NHL.

A league shoving it's biggest star/rivalries down the audience's throat?!?!? What are they thinking? Good thing the NFL, NBA and MLB don't do such things. /sarcasm

Game was a blast. 4 goals in the first 8 minutes or so. Sid with 3 points as Pens win 6-3.

Letang gets a broken nose with 3 minutes left in the game, goes to locker room, gets it put back in place, gets a test to see if he has a concussion, and then gets the game winner in OT a few minutes later.

This is why hockey rules.

Letang has balls of steel after what happened to him.

Also, Subban is still a scum piece of shit.

Pens had some serious D zone problems along with some lack of discipline.

Didn't get to see this one but was following online. Always great to beat the Caps.

And now they have one of the biggest SOBs as a coach.

OV is their biggest problem.

What exactly is up with the Caps? They started something like 8-0-0 or 9-0-0 and now are 12-11-1. I haven't really paid attention to them this year and have heard about Ov in a negative way, but what is it? Attitude, I'm guessing, but more specific is what I'm looking for.
