Can't fuck with one of their best players and expect the gloves to stay on. KO of the year right there.like_that;933143 wrote:Asham fighting Beagle was dumb, but gotta give him credit for manning up and saying his actions were classless.

Heard Asham interviewed today. He said Beagle wanted the fight. He doesn't regret fighting but regrets his gestures afterwards.

Eh...heat of the moment it happens, i don't see anything wrong with what went down. You mess with a top player you better get ready to throw down. That looked more brutal than when kane took out cooke.GoPens;933487 wrote:Heard Asham interviewed today. He said Beagle wanted the fight. Hockey does have weird codes of honor sometimes. Fighting is part of the game, but making a taunting pro wrestling gesture after said fight is horrible and classless. As is casually mentioning how other players happen to be hooking up with your sloppy seconds. I thought that dude (Avery, wasn't it?) was going to be blackballed the way they were acting like he'd committed a triple-homicide over that a couple years ago.Raw Dawgin' it;933500 wrote:Eh...heat of the moment it happens, i don't see anything wrong with what went down. This team is so painful to watch right now. Kennedy is out now with Concussion-like symptoms.

Are the Pens going to have their season completed before everyone else is midway? Just weird. I was looking at the standings yesterday afternoon and saw they'd played six games where most teams had played four or five and a couple only had done three. Then they played last night and are playing tonight, so it just seems that the games are coming constantly for them compared to other teams.
Kinda stinks for them that with the way they're getting/are banged up that they have games so frequently. But I guess it'll possibly pay off later on in the year when they probably will be getting an extra off day or two while getting geared up for the postseason. Or not, since I tend to not look at schedules more than a day in the future. Just seems weird that they have seven games, while only two others even have six and the Rangers still only have played three.

Pens back to winning ways beating the Wild 4-2. That might be the most they've ever scored against the Wild in one game. (sarcasm). Then again, former Pen coach Mike Yeo is the Wild coach now, so you know the Wild power play had to suck.

Just listened to the end of the game. Anyone see it? Do the Wild still trap? Should we ask Rock?

Nice win by the Pens. Way to rebound. Two points early in the season which may help down the road.

Pens are now 5-2-2 and have the number one goal scorer in the league, James Neal.
