With him out, who's the top player in the league? I think there are so many players at equal level
Malkin or Toews.

Although I hate Pittsburgh sports, it saddens me to see Crosby in this situation. Unlike Roethlisberger, Crosby isn't a scum bag piece of shit. He is humble, has integrity, very classy, and shows humility. No matter what team a particular fan roots for, I never heard of one of them saying they have no respect for Crosby. Last thursday the majority of football fans in this country were hoping Roethlisberger tore his acl. This monday, the majority of hockey fans in this country are concerned for Crosby's health, and hope he can get back 100%. That says a lot about both men's (i use that term loosely for one particular athlete) character.
It's too bad Crosby and Roethlisberger can't trade their situations. I am sure nobody would complain about that.

I agree with most of your post, but Crosby always comes off as a whiny prissy pretty boy in the NHL. Doesn't like to get touched, and cries about it when he does. I don't respect that in a hockey player.

Sorry to break it to you, but most hockey players whine. Sid is just under the microscope when he does it.

Not surprising considering that their franchise player's career could be over.

Only 1 player showing up last night didn't help either. Malkin did everything while the rest of the team was moving in mud.

Complete reversal tonight, Pens up 4-1 after 1 over Buffalo. Chased Miller out of the nets early.

I don't think most hockey players whine. I read a poll amongst NHL players who were asked who the leagues biggest crybaby is. Guess who. I don't think it's some fan perception generated by the media or something. I think the dude is just a crybaby. It's not like hockey is covered enough to give people some unfounded opinion that Crosby is a crybaby. We don't see it on SC every night or anything.

Yes, I know. My players do "whine" to an extent though.

Engelland suspended for 3 games for his hit on Kruger. Not shocked although I thought he'd get 2 for being a first time offender.

Lets suspend people for clean hits!
Shanahan is so damn inconsistent with these rulings. Orpik spoke up today about it and was pretty mad about it.

Agreed, how Zac Rinaldo didn't get anything for giving a concussion to Robert Bortuzzo earlier this month is beyond me.

Watching Pens-Flyers. What is Talbot doing wearing orange? The Penguins would NEVER let him go! He's too much of a leader in the locker room.
(PS. Fucking Jagr. Anyone but him scoring.)

When Letang and Martin are healthy, I'd rather see Orpik get sent down instead of Despres.

Michalek has been a turnover machine lately as well. Orpik looks like he's hurt. Definitely not the Brooks we're used to seeing.
