Staal with 2 tonight. Minnesota on Saturday. I've been unfortunate enough to see the Wild the past two years against the Pens. Their games with that trap are enough to put you to sleep.

Pens beat the Wild 4-1. Malkin had another goal with a couple of assists. Only the preseason but the Pens are 3-0 and it looks like they're finally scoring on the PP.

Finally hockey!!! I'm a diehard Wings fan but I follow it all(btw if you don't get it, I recommend a Hockey News subscription. By far the best hockey magazine of all time). Anyways hopefully Crosby returns to form as he would have been MVP easily last season and IMO better than Ovechkin. Reminds me a lot of Stevie Y really. If Malkin can return to where he was a few years ago this team will be unstoppable

Pens up over the Kings 2-1 in the 3rd in a game played in Kansas City. Bit of irony that the game is there since that was one of the places Lemieux visited when trying to get the new arena built in Pittsburgh.
