I wondered how we would respond with injuries changing our personnel and after a poor showing last week mentally. We tightened it up this week and our QB played well and Mason had a monster game. It was good to have him be able to get out for a quarter. Its going to be a long season hopefully and he seems to be the only one holding up without some kind of aliment.

Impressive moments were: Brenner's 70 yd. punt (The Browns called after the game and offered him a contract LOL)
Monheim's run where he ran over the kid.

Way to rebound Riders. An awesome display by the entire team. This was a joy to watch. Now to Mansfield Sr.

Lexington's sorry play made Orville look strong. Their O-line is extremely slow. Seems like there is not much interest at all in passing to Turner or getting him any touches.

I'm sure the weak schedule we're playing will make us look good. We're just keeping STU's stats down so that he doesn't get a scholarship. Were running Monheim because his Dad may give us money. Are you related to Red Rider81?

Its a long season and Stu has done OK with the injuries he's had. We were ahead and didn't push it with a two way player who was contributing on defense also. There's other things we can do with Stu but once you've shown them its not a secret. We'll probably hold some of those back. Mason right and Mason left is not a secret its more like a dare you to stop him. If we ran Stu out of the backfield with a bad shoulder he'd last one -two games and you'd be saying why did you do that?

I heard on the radio that Orrville had over 300 yards of offense in the FIRST HALF!

What a big win for the Riders. We were down a couple key guys and facing a tough opponent. Bigger than us as usual. Our overall team speed especially on D was impressive. We had younger guys step up big tonight. We took some big hits and kept going. We handed out a few licks as well. Say what you want about Lex, but colleges don't make too many mistakes on recruits and they had 1 going to the Big Ten who our guys neutralized all night, made the QB run all night which he is not comfortable doing, and ran over some guys. We had somewhat of a breakdown after the game was well in hand in the 3rd quarter.....but it was over. Kyle improved, the O-line improved, and that is what we needed. To beat a team like that in that way with some guys having to play a much more important role than we planned was great for out team. I like how we can keep some fresh D-line in there and not miss a beat. Trevor White again did a great job at nose and he was under the weather. They needed to double him up much of the game and that freed up some others. Great team effort. We made plays when we had to. The defensive stand down inside the 10 in the 1st quarter that resulted in a missed FG was big. Mason's strip and score was huge and Drew's 70+ yard punt was a back breaker. Stu's TD catch was impressive and he draws so much attention that other things can work. When they try to man up on him....he wins. We need that balance to accomplish what we want. It is nice to have weapons all over the field. Brenner, Turner, Lemon, weaver, Tyrone White, Sampson. they are all sure handed receivers. Mason needs to hang on to that ball. Kick coverage was better tonight. Dillon Tanner gets stronger every game on PAts. We took a step in the right direction tonight. Still need to improve, but it is only week 4

Good Job Orrville!!! Glad that you played well...was hoping Lichti didnt get run over by a bus again this week...figured there would be some hero to save the day!!!

Now...Beast asks...Is Orrville that good???? Is Lex that bad???? Just curious...because the last week, i read how lil timmy was terrible, big john fumbled, coaches blew it...fans stunk it up...bus driver drove too slow...

Whatta we looking at? A Good Orr Team? A Bad Lex Team?? Spell it out for the Ol Beast.....

1 penalty and no turnovers in the first half. If we don't kill ourselves we can be a tough opponent. Our defense was stellar again. They scored on a fluke play and had zero running game against us.

Has there been anything that this team has done right Series, we could win everygame by 100 for 10 years and you will still piss and moan, take your ball and go home Series.

Nailed it. Malcontent to the 100th degree.

Stew and Drew were both less than 100%...and anyone with a brain saw Stew was favoring his one shoulder A LOT...and he still had a big impact on the game. I'm fine with him not running the ball last night....a big hit on one of those sweeps and his shoulder could have taken more damage. Credit to him and Drew for gutting it out and playing hurt.

Great game by Mason. His speed impressed me last night. And just don't get in his way unless you want to pay for it.

Saw the Riders last night for the first time in 2011. I must say I was very impressed.

Monheim put on a clinic offensively and defensively. I had no idea he was that fast. I could go on and on about the Riders but most of the people reading this probably saw the game. Congrats to Orrville.

Also, kudos to Lichti, he played with swagger and did a fine job.

I'd like to hear some opinions of the Lex QB. That kid was impressive, nice size and a big arm. His stats won't do his performance justice because the Minutemen receivers couldn't catch a cold in the dead of winter.

Kyle took a lot of heat last week...so I want to be equal in my praise of him.

14 of 22...210 yards, 2 TD passes and ZERO interceptions. That's an efficient stat line. He does that consistently, and this team is very dangerous.

Hope to see his confidence grow after last night.

Was good to see Kyle get his arm back on track. Would like to see him use his legs more. He had several times that he could of tucked the ball and possibly picked up the first down himself rather than throw and incomplete pass. Over all very good night and another solid showing on Defense.

Couldn't agree more RedRider1, this team could be very dangerous down the stretch. We control our own path, have 6 more weeks to tighten things up, would sure love to see an out right win of the OCC, and by the way it's looking the Riders are in the driver seat.

No to moving, shutting and grudge! By all your football 'smarts', in what area did you see a 'tough' Lexington team? The slow Defense, the porous O-line, the 'non'-specia teams? Where was your defense of Davault when everyone was questioning his coaching and play-calling last week?

Done right? Of course...they didn't commit many turnovers (not much pressure from Lex) nor did they continually get drawn offsides as Lex's "tough" coaching must not have known about that Orrville propensity. Why didn't you ask that question of the Orrville faithful last week?

Turner always has a big impact on the game. Perhaps he would have a bigger impact if the coaches allowed him to. I'm not the only person to make that comment (just the only one to say it that you don't like). Nor did I suggest putting him at running back.
