Going to be an interesting off season for sure. I'd say that our play this season puts us in the "win now" zone that Dolan has claimed lead to more spending. Unfortunately there are only two really good 1B eligible for free agency and for some reason I just can't see Pujols or Fielder deciding to come to Cleveland. Lance Berkman would be an interesting possibility as he can play OF, 1B and could DH.

I really hope that we'll be able to convince Grady to sign an incentive laden contract because I don't necessarily want to let him go but I don't think the Indians can afford to risk $9 million on a guy who hasn't been able to stay healthy lately. I think Fausto will be here next year also, either because his option is picked up or through arbitration. He's still only 27 and I don't see the Indians risking him "figuring it out" with another team.

I like our core going forward. I like Kipnis, drubs, Santana, chiz, and choo ( when healthy) I would love to throw a fuck load at Pujols or fielder but I doubt they will. Berkman would be solid tho. I would also like to see fukedome back

They are going to have to go out and get a right handed hitting everyday player. Period. If they bring back Fukidome, it will be the end of either Sizemore, Brantley or Choo (if not two of them) in an Indians uni. The lineup is way too left handed hitter heavy, and that was exploited by the Tigers down the stretch. I fully expect a blockbuster trade involving at least one of them.

While I wouldnt HATE signing The Big Puma...the dude is old. I personally dont want him. I think he will regress into what we saw more of prior to this season, than the in form Puma we saw this season.

I could definitely see them trading Choo. I doubt they let go of Brantley. He was consistent, young, and locked up for a while. I would definitely welcome Fukudome back. Just solid all around.

I would expect Shelly Duncan to be retained, but his defensive weaknesses work against him being an everyday player... His defensive miscue yesterday may well have cost us a sweep. The Tribe will need a right hand hitting 1st baseman too, as it is looking more and more that LaPorta is not the answer.

(If previously mentioned, my apologies) So....I guess that for the last 3 years Carlos Santana has "called his shot." Prior to the HR he hit the other night he called his mom and promised her a HR for her birthday (the next day). Santana has done this (promised her a HR) THREE years in a row and delivered EVERY time. This begs the question, "if you can turn it on at ANY time, Carlos, why aren't you hitting one EVERY game?" :p

I really like what we have seen from
Gomez lately. He looks like he could be our 3rd/4th starter next year. It would be a dream but I would love to see them bring back cc . He always said he really didn't want to leave and maybe he would be willing to come back.

I'd be fine with keeping Marson at C going into next season and moving Santana to 1B.

We don't need a catcher to hit .300. Marson controls the staff well, has a great arm, and isn't too terrible with a bat in his hand. He could be a .250-.260 hitter, but his defense makes up for his offense.

I do think we'll make a trade involving one of our OF'ers. I'd like to keep Fukudome, he's just solid.

Santana is showing legit power. He's closing in on 30 homers in his first full year.

Carrera is quietly doing a solid job offensively as well.. I could see him turning into a very high OBP guy, as well as keeping a BA around .280+.

He got a single in his 3rd at bat, I joked with my girlfriend when he came up for the 4th time that the only way he was getting the cycle was if he hit a ball that somehow got stuck in the wall or somewhere for like 5 minutes, lol
