I disagree as not everyone that buys McD's probably thinks it’s great or even good, it is just cheap and convenient! For the record, I never said Apple made vastly superior products. I was just countering dlazz's dumbass logic....and I'm sure everyone can agree with that.

Cop out?? What is left to discuss, you are trying to compare two ends of the spectrum not sure what else there is to say? Like I said comparing apples to oranges. If you were trying to compare Apple to other Tech companies then perhaps we could find something to discuss but tech products and fast food not sure how you can make a comparison between the two companies? We aren't comparing two different industries. We aren't comparing anything at all. How simple is your mind? The question is, do you believe market value and revenue = quality product? Just heard the iPhone is having some battery issues, although its probably a program glitch they can fix. or you can just buy an extra battery and swap out the dying one when it gets low....oh wait....

Once again, that was the initial argument. A claim was made that Apple has superior products because of higher revenue and higher market value. That was the point of the analogy. High revenue + high market value DO NOT = high quality.like_that;953155 wrote:I didn't make that claim?

Reliability, durability, etc. Apple is a company that consistently has to release a new product every 6-8 months because people are tired of the using the old product. For every story of someone owning an Apple for 10+ years there's 10+ for people who've owned them for less than 5 months. Adjusting the time zone settings on the iPhone might help alleviate the issue. Reportedly, a bug within iOS 5 forces the phone’s location tracking feature to remain active far more than it should, which in turn drains the phone’s battery too quickly. Apple doesn't have any problems. I've often talked about how people that buy Apple products buy them to "belong" to a certain community. Of course its going to rank top in customer satisfaction. When you pay a 50% premium on a product, you better like it to the maximum, otherwise you're just trashing your own community.
