If it works well and is easy to use it will catch on like wildfire - why would anyone want to waste time trying to type something out when you can just press a button and speak? Not to mention the hands-free angle and ability to multi-task while doing so.
too many variables when talking vs typing i feel. accents, pronounciations, corrections, punctuation(yeah its texting, but i am not a 12 year old girl, my texts resemble sentences)

Anyone have theirs yet? I can't wait to get mine, just so I can announce it on here, just for COA.

You can "say" the punctuation, and it actually is pretty smart with periods and the like. I use it mainly for searches and navigation and have no issues. It's gotten better and I think Ice Cream Sandwich will be really good. Although Swype might be superior to it all. I can't type worth a lick on the physical or soft keyboards.

There's also some new software out in beta for texting while driving. It's getting really impressive reviews (forget the name). Google bought another leading voice-to-text tech company 6-9 months ago that I believe is a major competitor to Siri....as I said, I think ICS could have something up it's sleeve.

Got mine this morning. It seems relatively fast and the siri is pretty spot on. The camera is unreal, and if your watching a video and you get a text it pops up at the top of your screen and doesn't stop your video which is nice. One bad thing is that it is heavy.

It says the 4S is .1 ounces heavier than the 4 due to the bigger battery.

I have the 3GS before so that's probably why it feels heavier

If you went through the activation online, and are waiting for your phone to get signal, try turning it off and back on. That worked for both my wife's (crappy b/c her crappy husband got it for her, he's a dick) iPhone 3GS, and my iPhone 4S

No, I can't even get it activated. I'm using the guest (crappy)wireless here at work, that probably has something to do with it.

Justin, I know you are a Spotify user. What is the Spotify App like? Is that like the computer application that allows you to basically listen to anything? Or is the iPhone App one for which you would need a monthly subscription to do that?

I'm trying to call and do it over the phone but I'm thinking everyone may be doing the same.

Anyone know if you can use a foreign sim card when traveling. I've heard yes, I've heard no, not sure what to believe. Just curious if anyone knows.
