They apparently bumped the release date up 1-month. With the passing of Jobs, that should boost sales tremendously. Do you think he died to help sales of his book?

Put my pre-order in too! Went with white as well. I'm taking a gamble by paying full price that I'll be able to sell my 4. I'm hope to at least get enough to offset the price to the amount of the contract deal I figured when the 5 comes out, I'll be able to sell the 4S for more than I would the 4 and make a profit because, then I'll be eligible for an upgrade.

(that's at least what I'm telling the gf, who doesn't think I need a new phone yet!)

Preorderered the 16gb for my wife and I bought a few extras to sell on eBay...

I bought the iPhone 4 in release day for at&t at full price and sold in eBay for $1200 last June. Trying to again this year, sold to some guy in Singapore.

So you're doing the same thing everyone else is?
Yeah, pretty much! I'm just hoping the Pittsburgh/Ohio Valley market isn't flooded to the point where no one buys my phone. I was able to sell my 3G for $150 within an hour of posing it to Craig's list. So selling one model removed (instead of two) should be easier.

Has anyone tried to upgrade even though they got the 4 last year? AT&T usually let's you get the discount price. I dont really want the 4s but my wife cracked her screen.

Just go here and check eligibility for upgrade it'll tell you everything.

Yes, but they're not letting you up grade early this time. My contract is up in Feb. and I still had to pay full price. Just pay full price and sell the cracked one(somone will buy it)

Post it now and say it will be available once you get get the 4s. Beat the saturation and maybe you will have it sold before you get the new one.

That sucks. I'm not paying full price. It's ridiculous. I doubt I could get enough out of her broken one to cover it.
