I am putting together a tailgate party for the Browns at Bengals game the weekend after Thanksgiving. It's a 1pm game so we'll start this thing around 7am. Check in here if you are planning to go to the game and would like to stop by. I am thinking of getting a keg and some burgers and dogs and whatnot and charge a small fee for all-you-can-eat/drink or you can BYOB/food.

I don't see a team that can beat them on the schedule up to that point so we'll see.

Seriously though, I'll try to make it. I'll be in town and will probably need a break from a 1mo old. You guys going to wait on tix? Should be super easy to find.

Yeah, we are going to wait. If I can't find cheap seats I'm not even worried about going to the game.

I wouldn't wait, Cleveland fans will probably be selling it out very quickly.

Like I said, I'm not worried if I don't get a ticket. Since I don't care about either team.

yeah, I could give a shit less about actually going in to the game. I am there to hang out, drink and act a fool. If I can score cheap tickets...I may go in.

I'll be around that weekend, so go ahead and count me in. I'm not planning on heading to many Bengals games this year but I'd be up for that one.

Good chance I will be heading to the game as well. Waiting to hear back about tickets. If I do I'll stop by the tailgate.

I checked the Jets schedule and they play the Bills at 1pm that day so I am out for the actual game but the tailgate is still on.

I've never really dealt with kegs, would one be sufficient if people supplemented with other beer?

One is sufficent and no extra beer would be needed for 10 people. There are 160 12oz servings in a keg. Unless you have 10 people drinking 16+ beers I think a keg is more than enough. A pony keg has about 85 12oz servings....

I'm guessing we'll have more than 10 people there.

A 1/2 barrel at our local distributor is $102 for the cheap shit (Miller Lite, Coors Light, Bud Light).

If you find someone that already has a keg, that price will be much cheaper.

Either that or just return the empty keg after the game and get the deposit back. If someone is coming from Columbus, have them pick up a keg from the Budweiser distributor there. Last time I got kegs from there Bud Light was around $70.

Yeah, I'm assuming there is the keg deposit built in to the price but it doesn't specify what the deposit actually is. Also, we can get a keg of Beast Light for $84.
