We have 2 JRT (boy and girl) and are considering getting another one. Has anyone heard that female JRT dont get along. A friend of mine told me there would be blood if we got another girl.

I used to watch Wishbone all of the time so I'm practically an expert. Any JRT should be able to have various adventures and play dress-up without issues. They should also be able to bark on cue.

Jack Russell's are by nature, aggressive dogs. Can be good pets, and great watchdogs, but they need a lot of training.

We are thinking of a JRT and I've been doing a ton of research on them. Have yet to come across anything saying females don't get along.

I have a female Jack Russell mix and two cats in my house. They all get along just fine. (I can't really answer the question, but if she can get along without eating the two cats I would think she could get along with another dog.)

I know they can be a little temperamental. I would at least definitely you allow them some face to face time before making a choice and you may even be able to fix some aggression issues with training.

2 males can create problems as well! trust me; wouldn't add another to the mix.
