There is a very very good reason that small sample sizes are not used when talking stats for any sport. Lets see if you can figure out why that is...
4 actually.

you should tell that to other people on this board crowning Cam Newton the next Peyton Manning or Troy Aikman after 2 games.

Troy Smith is an NFL QB playing in the UFL. The haters can deny it all they want.

Almost everybody in football circles seems to believe Smith doesnt have "it." Yet pick6 believes all of these people are missing out on Smith. Weird. They apparently aren't seeing what pick6 has seen
Im not so blind that I cant see that the UFL is worried more about making money than producing a good product right now, unlike you. So apparently im a little more business minded than you, not to mention I am an accounting major.

Is this some sort of joke? You're messing with me right?

They were playing Masoli. Masoli has no tie to the area. So that defeats your whole argument. Smh

Smith is without a doubt an NFL caliber QB, maybe not a starter but he is good enough to play in the NFL and that has been proven.

How many of you work in the NFL or UFL as scouts? Pick6 if you work as a scout, it is a good thing you have that accounting degree to fall back on

What NFL scouting credentials do you have that your opinion is superior to his?

How can people say he's not an NFL QB? He played, started a couple games, and won a couple games on a terrible team. The only reason he's not in the league is because he's going to demand a higher salary and there isn't a backup job that is worth that much.

My opinion is superior because he says Smith should be starting for the 49ers, yet Smith hasn't been starting for the Omaha Nighthawks.

The Omaha Nighthawks are a better team than the 49ers.

They played one game. Masoli and Crouch have been there longer than him. It takes time to learn a playbook, but you wouldnt know that.

So wait, you were just mocking the head coach as being a joke and now you are implying that his offense is complex enough to cause Smith to need to learn it?

p.s. Smith has been with the team for more than 3 weeks. Masoli has been with the team a grand total of 6 more days.

There was no point to his last argument. (Smith hasn't had time to learn the playbook.) The guy starting over him had been there 6 more days.

By not playing Smith last week and Masoli, they will each have had the same amount of time to learn the playbook before playing.
