Things like yesterday made me wonder if the starters should have gotten more PT in the preseason. Did the first-team offense play more than one or two series in more than just the third game? Seven turnovers is just sick and unacceptable no matter who the opponent is and how good their defense can play.

Between ND/Steelers in only 3 games combined this regular season....SIXTEEN FUCKING TURNOVERS.

How was the O-line? What caused Ben's fumbles? Him holding the ball too long or no protection?

This was just an old fashioned beatdown. Steelers defense looked old & slow and couldn't keep up with the speed of the Ravens offense.

What surprised me is that Baltimore was able to run so well against Pittsburgh's D because Baltimore has a pretty crappy O-Line.

I'm sure Pittsburgh's "ill's" will be cured when they butt rape Seattle this week. That game should be like taking candy from a baby that doesn't like candy.

Another thing to remember is the Steelers looked old and slow against the Redskins in the first preseason game and then beat the brakes off Philly and finished the preseason with 3 straight wins. I think they'll be fine but yesterday was just one of those games. But make no mistake....B-more took it to them.

Coming into the season I was half way pessimistic with the releasing of Derrick Mason, Heap, LaRon McClain, Josh Wilson and Kelly Gregg but I am thinking the players who will be taking their spots will do a pretty good job. The O line has improved. McKinnie who came over from Minnesota is going to be a nice pick up as will Gurode from Dallas. I think they will be better than last season. As for McClain leaving I am pretty certain Vonta Leach is a better fullback. I'm pretty excited about him.

BTW, what the hell happened? I had redzone going, so I saw a lot of scoring plays and SOME of the turnovers. But how the hell did a team like Pittsburgh who is full of veterans and talented players turn it over SEVEN times. I put money on Baltimore -2.5 and expected to be sweating it at the end. I was in awe when I read they had 7 TOs. Thats like a third of the season for them usually!

Also, what was with the "Brawl" I had that on my mini TV without sound, but saw a pretty big scuffle going on? Any suspensions or anything likely to come from it?

It looked like Pittsburgh was tired and not prepared to play. Flacco looked better than usual. Rice was running solid. Baltimore's D showed up pretty big. Ed Reed grabbed 2 picks. Even though they weren't hard to get that is still what he does. Ngata and Suggs were beasts as usual. There were several brawls after the play was over. These teams hate each other as everyone knows. I doubt there will be any suspensions.

Remember how they constantly whined about Capone and then would copy and paste posts that non or Capone or one of us other Steeler fans made on their thread and post 'em on our Steeler threads "where they belonged"? Talk about being a "crybaby bitch".....

But now they're all over the Steeler thread. Hypocritical BS indeed.
Had the results been the opposite and the Steelers kicked the shit out of Baltimore, they wouldn't be on this thread. Let them have their fun. They don't get to do it very often.

I keep hearing from various people that this W for Baltimore wasn't legit because the Steelers didn't look ready to play. What a crock. No, I'm not anointing Baltimore the Super Bowl champs but I do believe they will be pretty solid this season. The win doesn't automatically give them the division but it does mean something.

Who are the dumbasses that said this? I'm guessing it was one person and they were probably under the age of 12.
