But if I were a teacher I would think it would be a terrible idea to be facebook friends with a student in my class. People have been fired for stuff they put on facebook, and I would think just to be safe you would not want to cross that line. (Although I think it's ridiculous that someone could be fired for something they did outside of work.)

Let me start with facebook in general, I think the whole thing is a complete joke and people need to find something productive to do with their lives. I don't care what you ate for lunch or dinner, I don't give a shit that you are studying for a exam or how bad your day at work was, I could give two shits what you are going to watch on TV or if you have a tummy ache because you have just eaten a whole gallon of ice cream. Facebook is R rated voyeurism at its best.
The comment about having a awesome body was a joke and it is a shame that you could not see that when reading my post.
