We haven't had a baserunner in about 2 hours. Stop trying to hit a damn walk off and get on base.

18 in a row set down by A's pitching. It only takes one...

It also could take a single, a bunt and a single.grodt;878914 wrote:18 in a row set down by A's pitching. It only takes one...
Or a walk, a WP, a bunt and SAC fly.
It doesn't have to be a home run. All of these guys are swinging out of their damn shoes. Get on base.

That's true right now I'd be thrilled with a baserunner.

Could there possibly be a team worse than these 2 offensively in the majors?

"Chad Durbin finishes August with a 1.15 ERA (15.2IP, 16H, 4R/2ER, 2BB, 15K) in 9 games"

San Diego and Seattle would give us a run for our money. Houston, too.Wooball;878925 wrote:Could there possibly be a team worse than these 2 offensively in the majors?
Althought Seattle just got done blasting us so who knows.

Seattle was, but we got offended and let them blast us so there would be no doubt.Wooball;878925 wrote:Could there possibly be a team worse than these 2 offensively in the majors?

21 straight retired for A's pitchers entering this inning... hoping to put the jinx on

We will never get a hit. Much less score a run. We need 4 walks in an inning to score.Wooball;878930 wrote:21 straight retired for A's pitchers entering this inning... hoping to put the jinx on

Can anyone else believe that the 2 hot blondes that are constantly being shown over the shoulder of left handed hitters are still there? They must be hooking up w/ some of the players after this one.

Pretty good job by Hermann tonight. Hopefully he doesn't have to come back out for a 4th inning. But with the murderers row of Donald, Head and Marson I sure he will be.
I have half an inning left in me.

Great baserunning by Donald. Why the hell was Head not bunting.
Just a flyball here Lou.

Pretty good pitch by Outman to lock him up. May have been inside but nothing Lou could do there.
Wild pitch would be nice.

I should probably just say fuck it and go to bed, but I have invested almost 5 hours into this one tonight, how can I just stop watching without knowing the outcome?
