with the tribe facing a left-hander today, it wouldn't have mattered if he threw a no-hitter. we still would have found a way to lose somehow

Tigers back on top of Royals 8-6. Of course the Royals will just shut us down but they can't get anybody for Detroit out.

Bad last game but good series overall. Would have been even better if KC's bullpen didn't completely suck ass.

Well, should have guessed this was the way it was going to go....This team just has no offense right now.

Fausto...SMH really man, really? That's the best you could do against Oakland....OAKLAND! Their offense is even worse than ours.

Overall this homestand has been good and we are still right there with the kitties.

Reality check....we played great for a week and haven't gained anything on the tigers. Just isn't going to happen with this team....too many injuries and not enough talent. I am just happy that they are relevant in September.

The only way to really do some damage and put some pressure on the tigers is to sweep them next week. I can't see it happening, but I guess that depends on pitching matchups. But we had that in our favor in Detroit...and still got swept.

BRF is now an official believer in this Week day "Businessman's Special" jinx. Just mark an L up for any that are left on the schedule. SMH

by my unofficial count, we're 3-8 in those games this season and that's with starting out 2-0. good news? we only have one of those awful games remaining. bad news? it's against the tigers lol

What? Then our Stalwart, BR, is wrong? We actually won TWO weekday day games? Instead of dwelling on how we frittered away our big lead, I am going to focus on being still in the hunt on Sept. 1. I would have never ever imagined that being possible before this season started!

now we have to hope the white sox can do some damage to the tiger since the tribe is 7 games below .500 on the road, even though it is KC.
