I honestly don't know the last time I watched MTV... probably around middle school when I still thought it was cool.

Mainstream music has to be at an all time low. This is absolutely pathetic. Atleast Kevin Hart made fun of Lil' Wayne, Kanye and Jay-Z performed, and the Foo Fighters won an award. Its sad when people go apeshit for Niki Minaj and the reception for the Foo Fighters sounds like a morgue.

CCRunner this may be the one and only time I completely agree with you about anything, and i lol'ed at the Metallica-Jethro Tull reference

Adele and Beyonce both killed. Not surprised because they are actually talented, no gimmick stars.

Gaga's schtick is getting real fucking old, she is so talented but she is too weird to ever be taken seriously

But that shit was terrible. The first half was OK. The 2nd half was PURE garbage.

That whole Wayne bit was awful, and I tend to like his stuff. Quit trying to sing, quit trying to be a rock star. What a painful way to end that show.
