Maybe last week was just a fluke for Ashland? Tough game to try to get things back on track.

Did Ashland lose a lot from last year? Or is Wadsworth that good?

Similar to you prediction of Carrollton winning last week (lost 58-7) or more similar to your prediction of Salem winning last week (lost 21-7)?

A few things about Ashland.

1. Right now they are no where near as good as they were last year, mainly at QB and O-line.

2. Things that Ashland did terrible last week can be fixed, lots of work to do, but this team has a lot of tallent but they need to come together soon to make it work.

3. Coach V is known for starting guys that probably should be in there. I dont care how good you are but if you are starting nose gaurd you need to have some size, our interior line got blown up both offense and defense, we have the size, use it.

4. Last week was a perfect storm, everytime Ashland got some momentum they lost it. Ashland will bounce back from this and I hope in a big way. This team can be good, but it starts with the little things.

unc4life, I aggree with what you said. Point #1 tho, doesn't Atown return some O lineman, didn't think that would be a trouble area? I think Ashland will bounce back......too well coached and have talent, maybe it isn't being utilized. It was only one game. Dover better not take them lightly. That being said Ashland needs a better showing to be competative in this game. Hope both teams play injury free.

The Arrows DBs and safety better have their track shoes on,cause Dover WILL run up and down the field. What's worse is when they get in the Red zone they'll pound it with their big back,I think it was no.21.Good Luck to both teams, lets hope it's a good one.

Definite advantage at home for Dover with the likes of the annoying PA announcer, the gonging bell, the arrogant spectators and the band whaling away when the opponent has the ball all ad up to a distinct advantage for the home team at Crater Stadium. The band and spectators infiltrate the away venues as well.

I believe that is Chris Thomas? Fortunately for Dover, he has graduated and takes his 6 TD performance w/ him from last year. I expect a much closer game than both teams had last week, but Dover will move to 2-0 w/ the Arrows falling to 0-2. Dover 35-24.

Should be a good game. I wish Orrville still played Dover...always loved playing in and watching those games.

Thomas was good but would have never scored 6 T.D.'S in a Dover uniform because D.I. would have sat him on the bench the 1st time he showboated. I know kids will be kids, hopefully he is doing well at some college.

Dover never takes anyone lightly...Coach Ifft won't let them. He is always able to have his team ready to go whether its against perennial playoff teams like Steubenville & Sheridan or the smaller teams of the ECOL. One things always for sure, Dover comes to play.
