My girl wants to eat there when we land in Columbus Thurs. How far from the Columbus airport is it? Like or dislike? Of course have seen it on TV many of times but have never been.

It is south of rt 70. Probably 20 minutes by the time you weave through traffic

I wanted Thurmans but I guess I can settle. She lived in Germany for 12 years so she has been begging for german food.

Their food is awesome. It's definitely more of a rainy fall evening kinda place for me. If you get the buffet you will be full as hell.

They used to always have live polka music on friday nights. Don't know if they always do anymore, but it's pretty fun.

The peanut butter cream puffs r the best. What time do you plan on getting there? If its after 5:00-5:30 your looking at a three hour wait on a friday. There is always Thurmans close by if the waits that long or even planks. Also make sure you stop at Jeni's Ice Cream.

Just went this spring and had the buffet, skip the potato salad and eat as much meat as possible. The cream puffs are just about as awesome as it gets.
