I'm there for the week, anything interesting?

Zanesville was tough on me last week for all of you biting your nails wondering how my life is going.

I got excited for a second, and then i realized you were probably talking about the wrong Wellington.

Indeed, cbus4life and I live where Wellington means NZ, and you don't go to any place for a week. You make a 7 -12 hour flight mean something. Haven't made it to NZ yet but I've spent quality time in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. Flying lets you catch up on reading. I read all of George R.R. Martin's Ice and Fire books in two and a half weeks.

As for Wellington, Ohio, I think Fan from Texas might have some suggestions.

I thought the same thing. I didn't know there was a Wellington in Ohio...

I grew up right down the road. Not a lot going on there but it's been years since I've been back. The last time I frequented Wellington, the big "hangout" was a bowling alley. As mentioned, FFT can give you a better lowdown.

There used to be a neat little museum in Wellington, Ohio. I think it was called The Spirit of '76 Museum. It isn't the Smithsonian but it is something to do there.

I live about 11 miles away from Wellington. There isn't anything going on there. People who live there generally have to go to Elyria to do anything fun.

I was going to mention that he might want to head to Elyria.

I'm not sure what you like to do or what you have time to do but Elyria would be your best bet. Wellington is simple. Basically fast food and a couple pizza places.

Does "drive somewhere else" count as anything interesting?

Yeah, I'll let you figure that one out. It's a frat house at Oberlin College.

Ah ok I kind of figured that is what you were referring to but wasn't sure. I'm not a huge fan of Oberlin. I actually hate driving through it.

Yeah, Amherst has a lot more than Wellington. Still not much to do besides go out to eat or have some drinks but they do have a Chipotle!

I stayed literally across the street from that Chipotle. But I had to leave for work before they opened and got back from work after they closed. Was really depressing, almost gave one of the desk ladies at the hotel $10 to go get me a burrito while I was at work.

Wow those are crazy hours. You may have said before but what kind of work do you do?
