Great play! How's wrigley? Always wanted to go see a game there. Maybe we'll get stationed in Illinois one day.

I think as long as Phillips keeps it reasonable, the Reds will bring him back. We need his batWhat are the chances BP gets another year with the Reds? Will they go ahead and keep him another couple years and then bring up Billy Hamilton or go ahead and bring him up to see what he has? All of these young guys (Cozart, Alonso, Frazier, and Sappelt) are looking impressive so far. All have the potential to be starting right now or be starters next year.

He did. That's why Tom was saying it was a veteran move when he threw the other ball onto the fieldI think that guy who fell into the basket to retrieve the Renteria HR ball, threw a different ball back onto the field so he could keep the HR ball.
Reds should have traded Hernandez to the Giants. The Giants gave up a decent minor leaguer for Cabrera's decaying corpseAnd then you have Mesoraco who will be the catcher in another year.

Yeah they showed a replay and that's what it looked likeHe did. That's why Tom was saying it was a veteran move when he threw the other ball onto the field
It looked like he kept the HR ball in his right hand, reached down and got a ball, and threw it back onto the field with his left arm.
That's why Jocketty should have been more active at the deadline. I think Sappelt wouldn't have been up here without Heisey's injury. If Sappelt keeps hitting then we might have an issue. But if he struggles he will probably be the casualty.I like Stubbs better when he is in the middle of the lineup too. I think there may be a platoon with Alonso and Sapelt to finish the season. The next question is what to do with Heisey when he comes back? You will have Stubbs, Bruce, Heisey, Sappelt, Alonso and Lewis as the OF. Someone is either going to be dealt or sent back down.

It was a clean slideI really dislike that campana kid

Rosters expand in about a month anyways, so it's probably a moot point
