Analysts blame the seeming "never ending wall of bad news" and "crisis fatigue".

Will these clowns in D.C. ever learn (or admit) that the single best thing they can do for the economy is GTFO to the maximum possible extent?

Ugly day for the Dow. Let's hope the jobs report reverses some of that momentum. The economy appears to be out of steam, which may mean we'll see QE3 here in a bit ...

I see this coming in the future.. real soon

Uneployment will be 9.6 by year end, stock and investmnet fucked, gold going higher, lending harder, business closing and intercity racial problems starts.
We are heading into a depression .... If this stupid mofo community organize pushes for tax increase or cutting out the bush tax or continues mention Increase Taxes ... matter will only get worse....

I see that some of the former Obama Supporter are now getting frustrated with their Hope and Change Public Servant...

So, Belly needs to build a time machine, go to Dec. 31, 2011, find out the unemployment rate, warp back to now and provide proof of what he found.

Is that, like, a joke? You're seriously asking him to provide proof that a prediction about the future will come true?

Businesses are sitting on record amounts of cash. Did you see the BONY yesterday now charging interest on certain deposits? This strongly suggests that uncertainty about the future (particularly as regards the impact of governmental/regulatory actions) is killing private investment. Unless the White House gets its act together shortly, Obama will be a one-termer.

The unemploymnet report just came out at 9.1% wait, wait , wait and then the real numbers will be reported ... (closer to 9.2 than 9.1)

WTF? Several million jobs created during Bush presidency despite recessions and 9/11. On the other hand obama presidency has resulted in multi-millions in job losses, and it continues. But when you have a anti-jobs, anti-investment, anti-business, anti-capitalism regime running the show, this is to be expected. he deserves to lose in a massive landslide like no other president in history ---- if we can somehow survive until the election.

Bush started office in 2000 with an unemployment rate of 4.1%. He ended Jan 2008 with an unemployment rate of 5%. Obama has caused unemployment rates to nearly DOUBLE since he's been in office.
