"You forgot him spouting numbers out of his ass and then saying that immigrants dont like college football."

Actually I said it, and having lived in NYC and not being an idiot it is true. I worked with many good folks from PR, the DR, Somalia, etc...REAL people that live in New York....they wouldn't recognize a Michigan helmet from a salmon helmet. New York isn't a college football city, other than what the American influx provides.

Sure Notre Dame fans hang out at Ship of Fools (an unfortunate name for a bar), the Texas Exes preferred The Back Page, Michigan and Ohio St. people hung out at Blondie's, Brother Jimmy's was an ACC crowd, last time I checked Park Avenue Country Club was a Maryland hang-out.....here's the thing, they all moved to New York from other places.

There isn't a Rutgers bar.

Can you at least acknowledge that I was never trying to say NYC had a good contingency of RU fans..my only point was that there are a lot of RU alum in NYC, so naturally we see a good portion of business come from NYC because of the alumni base.

E. 38th? That's some hot real estate.

Maybe if they had more than 5 people show up they would get a real place....East 38th, it might as well be the house at the Jersey shore.

And again Brother Jimmy's is an ACC joint, their founder is a Clemson guy, I've met him. He hates the Big 10 but will reluctantly show Ohio St. games, if Rutgers wants to go to ACC territory so be it, at least the waitresses there are hot and not from Camden or Trenton.

I think it actually sucks that NYC isn't that big on CFB. Its rare to come across a native New Yorker that actively follows it. Most are either transplants or New Yorkers that went away to college.

As for Rutgers, I don't hear much about them and if I do its from a graduate. Most of the talk has been about Kenny's Britts dumbass lol.

As for the OP, I said Zook is as good as gone. How can Miles be on the hotseat? Unless he has an absolutely terrible season, which I doubt he will with the squad he has, he won't be going anywhere.

Indeed I'm being a jerk, but I lived a few blocks from the baitshack on the upper east side for 4 years, the waitresses were smoking, wore tight shorts and a halter-top t-shirt with the logo of all of the ACC teams, and the banners were all ACC.

Take a look!

http://www.brotherjimmys.com/

I spent wayyyyy too much time there when we lived in NY.

Good information all, keep up the good work!! A 3 page argument over a statement that was obviously meant to make a point, and not meant as a finite statement.
