Lol...every tournament Tiger plays in we get the, "He'll probably be there in the end if he's really healthy". Two days later, "Tigers knee just ain't right".

Did something happen with his knee today? I thought he said he hit the ball well but didn't make any putts? No mention of his knee at all.

It says the last group tees off tomorrow at 9 AM? Can that even be right?

Pretty sure that's exactly what he said...nothing about the knee. He's really playing pretty well for having such a long layoff. Hopefully he can put it all together this weekend and build some momentum for the rest of the season.

Give Tiger a little time. I thought he'd play a little better than he has, but he still hasn't been that bad considering the length of time that he has been out. I don't know that he'll ever be what he was, but Tiger is gonna win more majors. Will it be enough to pass Jack? We'll see.

Stevie said something like, "This was the best week of my life."

I didn't make it to the tournament this year, but am wondering from those of you who did......was there much "cheering" for Stevie? I have heard people comment positively for Bones when he goes by, but other than that I have never heard anything said to a caddy....I just thought it would be cool to have support for guy who the way it looks was thrown under the bus by Tiger.

Maybe I was wrong, but I could've swore there were chants of "Stevie, Stevie" when he and Scott approached 18.

indeed there were. Kind of nice to see Tiger get dissed by the caddie he dumped. Good for Stevie!

The crowd was all about Stevie! Still the groups with Rory, Rickie and then the Adam Scott groups were massive in the afternoon...definitely had to run ahead a few holes to be able to see good. Probably the best Sunday I've ever been to in my life...just a stacked leaderboard and Adam Scott was just on fire

I've always liked Stevie, but he needs to realize he is a CADDIE.

He is not a player and should have declined that interview. He took and is still taking away the spotlight of how well Adam really played.

Exactly. He should have walked off the green, put Scott's putter cover back on and then put it back in the bag, and then carried the bag to the car and put it in the trunk. Then he could sit in the car and wait to drive Scott and the trophy back to the hotel and off to the airport.

And he can give him road head on the way.

I think it's funny how people are blasting Williams after his interview, yet Adam Scott was joking about how at least now he gets to talk about someone other than Tiger Woods! I don't think Williams' comments take anything away from Scott. The way Scott has played with Stevie on his bag to me speaks for the importance of this guy's input and his ability to work with golfers. Hopefully Adam continues with the improved play and gets the next major.....that is if my personal favorite, Mickelson, doesn't.

It's not taking away from his win? Who and what is everyone in the media and everywhere else talking about today?

I'll give ya a hint, it's not Adam's birdie on 18.

They wouldn't be talking about him anyway though, that was a boring tourney. Had Stevie not given the interview they would be talking more about Tiger but not more about Scott.

And if Williams doesn't say anything, I doubt anyone is talking about the Bridgestone today outside of Akron, Ohio...Attention would have turned solely to the next major. As far as Adam's birdie on 18, he wanted to play it conservative and Stevie talked him into going for it! How many victories in WGC events or major victories did Scott have before getting Williams?

Why didn't Scott win the US Open or British Open this year?

The reason Scott didn't win the British or US Open is the same reason Tiger didn't win EVERY major when Williams caddied for him. I never said he should win every major or even one major this year. I just think the places that he has finished with Williams on the bag shows that the caddie is making a positive difference. He is playing better, got his first WGC event win, and I hope he gets a major soon and I think Williams will improve the likelyhood of that happening.
