If anyone gets bored and has time to do a little data entry on the new site see the attached spread sheet. Basically any of the schools from out of state that have the parens around the state name need to be created as a new high school so that they can be referenced when I do the bulk import of the schedule. These were the rows that returned an error in the first import because the schools couldn't be referenced because they didn't already exist in the system. You basically just need to create a new school and then copy the school name exactly as it is in the spreadsheet as the title.

Here are two examples:
Input error: <em>Oak Glen Hs (West Virginia)</em> is not allowed for <em>Home Team</em> (not a node reference).
Input error: <em>New London</em> is not allowed for <em>Home Team</em> (not a node reference).
So Oak Glen Hs (West Virginia) and New London would need to be created as new schools.

If it's not an Ohio school don't worry about the other information. If it is an Ohio school and you know any of the other information and/or want to look it up, that would be cool. You can input an address under the location tab if you end up looking stuff up.

I've contacted the place we do all of our hosting through for work about setting up a server for me. I pay $70/month now for 1GB of Ram. I can get 4GB from them starting at $90/month. 4 GBs at my current place is $250/month.

Anybody do anything with the High Schools? I had a busy weekend so couldn't get around to it. Anything new going on with the scoreboard idea and such?

no, I intended on trying Saturday, but I felt like ass and went to the doctor instead. I may be able to Wednesday or Thursday, but I will be out of town after that for the weekend

Nice little scoreboard feature I just added:

Basically, you can filter the scoreboard down to the county or conference. I'll be creating a menu for all of the counties and conferences before launch, but in the mean time you can just replace "licking" with any county or conference and it will only show scores for teams that are located in or a member of the county or conference.
