Votto knocks Stubbs in and puts himself in scoring position, and Brandon looks bad early in the AB then puts a blooper in a good spot for an RBI!

BP is really hot. He's almost putting up the same numbers as Cano, even with the pitcher and janish/ER batting ahead of him most of the year.

What was the great play by Stubbs. The throw was very good but from shallow CF and 275 lb 35 year old Carlos Lee running.....

This is the big leagues....that play has to be made.

Carlos Lee might be the biggest turd in all of MLB. I feel bad for Astro fans because that guy is seriously terrible.

How about BP stops trying to steal bases, he has become terrible at it.

I was impressed with how quickly Stubbs picked up the ball, was in throwing position, and threw a strike to Cairo, avoiding hitting the runner who he was pretty much on line with. Was a lot like the Bruce throwing out Keppinger play, which I thought was a much better calculated risk by the runner than this one, mostly because of how many outs there were at the time.

I agree in principle, but think that was the right play in that situation.

If Alonso gets to face Norris again it will be a bad omen for the Reds chances to win.

Stretching a little.....that throw was not nearly as good as Bruce's to get Keppinger. Bruce threw a cannon shot to get Kepp by mere inches and COMPLETELY in the line of Kepp running....Stubbs threw the ball when Carlos Glacier Lee was still 35 feet from 3rd....threw him out by 12 feet...not nearly the high pressure throw.

Maybe even a smaller thing that impressed me was on the triple Stubbs was running down as it was rolling to the wall in RCF, I noticed Stubbs running toward a point 6-8 feet to the left of where the ball was going to hit, and sure enough the ball bounced directly to that spot to the left that Stubbs was running to. Didn't save any bases, but it impressed me!
