lol, good to know. I was pretty excited to see it when I initially saw the previews. Then the reviews were fantastic for just about all the parts you look for in a movie and then people on here all liked it, so I was even more convinced.Trueblue23;1383203 wrote:It was damn good. I was worried it would be a 100% chick flick, but it wasn't. Only like 15% chick flick lol.
Plus, Jennifer Lawrence...YUM!

For you Wes Anderson people--my roommate works for an ad agency but does some freelancing on the side...he just made these posters. Put them on Reddit and got over a hundred request orders so he is just going to make a shit ton. Let me know if you are interested.

Saw Side Effects tonight. It was entertaining. Not sure I'd ever want to watch it again, though, unless to see Rooney Mara's tits. She's hot.

I was supposed to go see Bullet to the Head this weekend but didn't make it. I plan to see Side Effects, Identity Thief, and BttH in the next few days.

Just watched Argo....definitely watch it. The first act was fantastic, and the rest of the film was pretty good. Great acting all around, great camera work and dialogue, glad to see how much attention there was to detail. Not sure if I'd put it in the top 5 of '12, but certainly great to see this type of original production. Might have to change my opinion of Affleck.

Was supposed to see PLaybook sat but got there too late so watcheed Identity thief. It was better than I thought. Going in it just wreaked of a comedy that showed all its good stuff in the previews.

'Identity Thief' was okay. There were a couple of moments where the theater was laughing, but overall it wasn't that funny. McCarthy kind of reminds me of Will Ferrel; they both have the obnoxious/loud role which is funny the first movie or two, but after that it gets old.
You know what movie I won't be seeing? 21 and over. I feel like I already saw it with The Hangover, and then saw it again with Project X.

Well in that case, I'll definitely be sure to miss it. I actually lived with a couple of Asians for a couple years of college (they were friends of my best friend), they never did anything wild or crazy. Their excitement was staying up til 4:00am watching rebroadcasts of random NBA games and cooking seaweed.hasbeen;1387536 wrote:dude...21 and over is about an asian. you haven't seen that!

I watched warm bodies last night. It was about what I expected. Not great but kind of funny.
I met a friend at the theatre and he was a little late. I was the very first peron there and soon after a pair of 20 something girls came in, sat directly behind me and started kicking my chair. WTF is wrong with people. Out of the entire empty theatre they had to sit behind me? I grabbed my shit and moved back two rows so I was behind them instead.

I didn't think it was that good of a movie. But I love Rooney Mara. And she shows her tits in every movie she's in.bigdaddy2003;1388357 wrote:I think I'm going to see Side Effects.
