Finally saw The Dark Knight Rises. I wish someone could coerce Christopher Nolan to not quit this series. It's too good. Keep it going!

I do look forward to seeing The Campaign. I have become a fan of Zach Galifinakis (thanks a lot to Due Date). I cannot believe he committed beardicide though...shame on him!

The Dark Knight series really is too good, but to be honest, I really don't want it to goon / continue. Why? Because I feel like anything he does is going to taint the 2nd and 3rd ones. Heck, the 3rd one kinda already did. I'd love to see another one (for selfish reasons), but I really think Nolan should walk away while he's on top (which he is).

Saw an advanced screening of The Campaign. It was pretty good. Your typical Will Ferrell movie - lot of great one-liners, not the best of plots, but certainly entertaining. Galifinakis was hilarious. His best scene was by far the scene where he's talking to his father in the fishing boat. And yes, you're right, Due Date was AWESOME.

Not just you...he does look quite weird.

He was BA in No Country for Old Men, though...so he gets a pass. I'm sure he will be good in Bond.

Good! I was hoping it wasn't just me.

I agree 100% about No Country...looking forward to him in Bond now!

Saw The Campaign yesterday. It's the type of movie I usually wait for DVD but was bored. That said,it had some funny moments. I'd give it a B.

I watched the original Total Recall Friday night, and then caught the new one on Sunday. I gotta admit, the original was better. I was really disappointed with the new one. I did not think it was good at all. Sure, it had good action scenes, but as an overall movie, I thought it was very disappointing. Besides the whole scene where he's in the chair at Rekall and gets out & starts whooping some @$$, I thought it was very mundane after that.

The Campaign wasn't bad. Wasn't great, but wasn't bad. Your typical Will Ferrell movie - some pretty good one liners, but the plot was a little whacky. If you go into it looking to be entertained, you'll probably enjoy it for what it is - a break from reality. If you go in looking for a witty, high quality comedy, you're going to be highly disappointed.

Typo. Sorry about that. Fixed it.

Should have read... The Campaign wasn't bad. Wasn't great, but wasn't bad.

I thought The Campaign was alright. I'm glad it wasn't just a Republican/conservative bash fest like I thought it would be.
