So what's on everyone's must see, coming out soon list? Last movie I saw was 'The Campaign' a few weeks ago but since then nothing has been out that's appealing. The headlining movies from the past few weeks (Premium Rush, Expendables 2, Hit and run) look like garbage.

I saw Expendables 2 last weekend. It was horribly awesome. I loved it. Didn't take itself too seriously and had a lot of good one liners.

One thing besides hime escaping prison (ridiculous) was the leg brace thing. He has this mechanical brace that enable him to kick through concrete (LOL). Yet is never mentioned in the film again, not even in the fight with bain. So why in the hell show it in the first place? It served no purpose.
To show how Bruce went from hobbling on a cane, to getting back to full mobility...

This is exactly what I have heard from several people. Everyone I know really liked it, because it was just a goofy action movie...and didn't try to be anything else.

Even though he likely had no access to it while at the prison? During the months of Bane's occupation of Gotham where apparently the rest of the U.S. was powerless to do anything while every Gotham police officer was buried underground apparently with razors, shower gel and daylight - it was simply a clunky script that took any sense of reality out of the story.

I understand it is a comic book movie so some leap of faith is needed but there was too much of a leap for me required by the crappy script. I enjoyed The Avengers and it most definitely had its cheesy and comic book moments but that's expected when Thor is a main character and Loki is the bad guy. The Dark Knight was incredible because it was a fantastic film that just happened to be based on a comic book character. The Dark Knight Rises was a comic book movie, complete with a ticking time bomb that belonged more in a cheesy James Bond film from the 70's.

Lawless only has a 66 percent on Rotten Tomatoes for some reason. It was easily a better movie than Expendables 2 and it has a 65 percent. Weird.

There's a reason people hate Shia Labeouf. He's terrible.

The few reviews I read mentioned the violence like it was put in just for cheap thrills. I thought it was based on a true story? I didn't think Lebeouf was horrible in this.

For my fellow chatter members who go to the movies to be entertained I recommend you skip Cold Light of Day. It wasn't very good. I wouldn't say the 8% it has on Rotten Tomatoes is justifiable but it wasn't very good.

It looks pretty good but I thought his voice would be a little deeper and it doesn't appear like they did any camera work to make him appear taller. Wasn't Lincoln like 6'5''?

I think it was written that Lincoln had a higher-pitched voice, shrill, squeaking ... so I think it's fairly good. He was 6'4" so yeah, pretty big.

IDGAF what the trailer looks like, its the same damn movie/story as LOTR but shorter. The fact that they're doing it in 3 parts makes it a remake basically IMO.

No desire whatsoever to see The Hobbit. Also, I have been ok with the 3D novelty, but this shit Disney is doing with rereleasing movies in 3D is annoying. First it was Lion King, now it is Nemo...just a shitty cash grab.
