So were John Clayton's reports that he is ineligible found to be true?

Pryor will just be another Troy Smith. He will never be the starter for an NFL team.

He should just join an Arena League team now.

Pryor couldn't fill Troy Smith's shoes, not in college or the pros. IMO

Not sure how much attention you pay to the NFL, but Troy Smith has some starts under his belt.

I can certainly count him out in the college aspect of the comparison, but I'll concede to you that we will have to wait and see what Pryor does in the pros.

Pryor will hold his Pro Day this Friday. The Supplemental Draft has been set for the 17th, but so far no one has been ruled eligible for it.

NFL sent memo to all teams on eligible players for Supplemental Draft- Pryor from Ohio State is NOT on the list. Caleb King from Georgia is
As for Pryor, several agents who met with his advised him his best bet given lockout and uncertainty over Supp Draft was to play in CFL...
More on Pryor - he could still be ruled eligible at a later date but has not yet. The process is "rolling" according to the league, so ...
NFL could make a final determination on him later, according to to a league source. He was not among the 2 players ruled eligible today...
And the league is continuing to assess the situation as it may pertain to Pryor. So perhaps teams will get a later communication on him

I guess Pryor's Pro Day is now on hold until the NFL says he's eligible for Supplemental.
