I don't think space exploration is at the point yet where we will make much progress with it being entirely dependant on private enterprise. It's too expensive and the returns aren't guaranteed for there to be anyone taking those risks in a big way. Sad that we'll likely never get back to the moon or anywhere else at this rate.
