4 more goals today for Messi.

And Arsenal drew at home with Norwich. Had a chance to basically lock up a CL spot, but only 2 points up on Newcastle and Tottenham (who both have a game in hand) now. Newcastle hosts Man City tomorrow. Huge match.

Should be an awesome finish with so many Europa League spots on the line. Liverpool could have sealed a spot by winning FA Cup today, but instead the spot goes to Chelsea, who has one locked up anyway. Thats good news for Fulham fans as they are behind on GD right now.

City is 15 minutes from a home date with QPR for the title. Yaya Toure with a great strike (pass) to give ManCity the lead over Newcastle fairly late.

Somehow Aston Villa manged a point against Tottenham, that locks up survival for them, thank god. What a miserable season.

Survival Sunday is going to be great, especially if Chelsea can knock off Liverpool on Tuesday.

Everton-Newcastle play head to head, both with Europe spots on line
Fulham-Tottenham play head to head, with Europe spots on line
Liverpool with Europa on line
ManU and ManCity with title on line
Arsenal with CL on line
Chelsea with CL on line

Basically, the top 9 are playing with big time qualifying spots on the line, and 4 of them are playing head to head (2 matches).

City just announced a new kit provider and sponsorship deal. They will be moving to Nike kits beginning in the 2013-2014 season.

While they are wearing Umbro, and it is a subsidiary of Nike, they will be wearing the "swoosh" like their in-town rivals...lame.

This is one reason why you shouldn't be a racist on the pitch...

Reportedly, Alessandro Nesta will be joining the New York Red Bulls from AC Milan.

The announcement is supposed to come this afternoon.

EDIT:
Supposedly NYRB are also in discussion with Emmanuel Adebayor, as well...

More DP rumors for MLS squads.

Michael Ballack to Toronto -- joining fellow German Torsten Frings.

Chivas USA is pulling for Raul to join them.

Nesta hasn't confirmed where he's playing yet, but Marco Di Vaio confirmed he'll be joining Nesta "in the same place" (does that mean club or country?).

Lulz. Had NOOOO idea that Torsten Frings was in the MLS now. Still an owner of one of the best goals Ive seen at a World Cup.

That game (I think it was that match) had some awesome long range strikes. Bastian I think had one crazy one from the side.

Nope. Not Bastian, it was Lahm. Point remains. Great goals, and that was an awesome opening match to that WC.

Juventus is a home result vs. Atalanta away from an unbeaten season.

They have 15 draws, but that's still pretty damn impressive. Only 19 goals against on the year.

I saw that. Its nothing like Arsenals run a few years back, but still not losing is good. Also diminished though, without being in any major tournament. Basically, its cool...but nothing to write home about. Id take MANY other seasons recently over theirs.

Crew got a HUGE win tonight. Two of the best goals I've ever seen them score haha! And they came back from 1-0 down (albeit against a 10 men FC Dallas)!!@#!@#

Screw you. We are massive. And we won (unlike the reds).

Also, the reds were on as well... since FS O has an alternate channel lol

Mowing people down. It's crazy. I found a stream for the game, it was the Nat's broadcast. They were talking about how the most innings he ever pitched in a season was 120. That's nuts.

Are you afraid he's going to have arm issues the way Baker uses pitchers?

I think, by season's end, he will be in the rotation. But yeah, Baker scares me.
