Rooney was so dumb for that red! He just kicked a guy straight in the calf as the guy was turning away from Rooney.
Oh, by the way, I am a few games into my 4th season on FIFA 12 manager mode. It's fun, but man, it is so different playing better teams than my little 3 star Sporting Lokeren.

Lol it wasnt needed and was kinda bush league, BUT....he didnt get em with the spikes, didnt really kick him that hard, and that guy and his flop is comical

The Brazil - Mexico game was great. Ronaldinho with an absolute beauty of a goal to tie it up then Brazil eventually wins 2-1.

I dunno. A Red Card for 2 YC is an automatic suspension without appeal of 1 game in international competitions. A straight red then would typically result in a 2 game suspension. Rooneys foul was about as deliberate as you will see. I think a 2 game suspension wouldve been fine, but the guy has a nasty history of his temper getting the best of him. Anybody been paying attention to the Euro Cup qualifying. All the group winners are set, and I believe the 2 legged playoff drawings are supposed to be today.

I bet it will get reduced to 2 on appeal, considering Arshavin only got 2 for Euro 2008 so there's some precedent.

Hopefully City can continue the form they had the opening part of the season. Even though I like Villa, I want someone other than ManU and Chelsea to win the title!
