Beckham was never the best player in the game (though easily an elite, world class player). But what he did worldwide for it, in soooo many countries, is literally, immeasurable.

Second, wish I could go to the Belgium friendly...moving that weekend.
Third, if you have the opportunity, go to the training session. It's pretty low-key, but fun and autographs after. I enjoy training sessions. You'll even get to see Jurgen lace up the boots!

Donovan was rumored to possibly be back for this round, obviously not. Would love to see him get right and be able to compete for the USMNT early enough to get comfortable again before the WC.
