It seems all we do is tie nowadays. Three straight 1-1 draws. (Not complaining about drawing City at Etihad, just some frustration in general)Laley23;1334366 wrote:Chelsea and West Brom go down today and Spurs beat Fulham, meaning Spurs are now tied at 26 pts with Chelsea for 3rd in the PL.
Everton tied ManCity as well, 1-1, and moves to a tie for 6th, just 3 points off of 3rd (but 3 teams are on 26 pts).
Basically, Dempsey and Howard in good positions for 2nd half runs to play in the CL next season.

Anyone see the Messiah v. Ohio Northern DIII National Championship game?
Messiah was up 4-0 in under 40 minutes. They ended up winning 5-1. I guess it was just that dominate. A friend of my gave me all the updates and game review. It seems that Ohio Northern was just way outta their league. And, yes, I do know what Messiah has to offer...

It isn't that fucking complicated, without Lampard Chelsea has been shit.

Despite everyone saying he's too old or whatever he's the guy that creates a ton of their goals since he has far better vision and moves the ball more quickly than any of their other midfield guys. Stop trying to force him out just because you want to be the guy to usher in a new era at Chelsea or some shit. Reduce his playing time when he stops creating so many damned goals and scoring opportunities via perfect passes. Roman is really pissing me off.

Eh, I'd say its more coincidence than anything. That illustration loses credibility right away seeing that the games played isnt even accurate. He has appeared in 12 matches this season, only starting 3. He has been injured, causing him to miss 3 matched to my knowledge. Both Man U's and Shaktar.I Wear Pants;1335331 wrote:It isn't that fucking complicated, without Lampard Chelsea has been shit.

I like Lampard, but he has been mostly irrelevant in-match this season. Its hard to justify playing him over the likes of Oscar (has been great this season), Mata (Team MVP last year, tearing up this season), and Hazard(name speaks for itself). A very elite group of attacking mids for years to come. Only midfielder I could justify him playing over is Mikel. Maybe Lampard could take on a role of playing more defensive mid, much like Gerrard has done at Liverpool while Lucas has been out.
Also, the biggest problem is firing Matteo as well as Torres not producing with all of the talent he has been surrounded with. The team has basically been built around him and he isnt producing. The firing was premature, every team has slumps during the season. Look no further than what he did last season to validate my argument.

Can somebody explain to me how Shaktar will be advancing over Chelsea? If things currently stay how they are...Chelsea and Skaktar are tied in points, but Chelsea is winning goal differential 7-4...Each won by 1 goal when they faced each other.
Also..if somehow Shaktar can draw against Juve...that will put Chelsea and Juva tied with points and goal differential today.

Clint with a goal that will likely secure Spurs spot in the next round of Europa League. Though, it went off the bar, off the keeper and in...so its an own goal.

Rumors abound for NY2 coming to the MLS. The latest is Manchester City's owner, Sheikh Mansour, is a leading candidate. Soccer Don [Garber] is asking $100 million for the expansion fee. Then, you have a $300 million stadium to build on top of that. Then...you have the salary cap...

Good luck to IU.
Torres with 4 goals the past 2 matches. Maybe Benitez is on to something.
