I cant really comment as I have only been following soccer for 3 years.

My roommate, a Liverpool fan, is a big fan of him because he was the manager when Torres was there and Liverpool was obviously good.

Other roommate, is an Arsenal fan and doesnt think he is that good.

Towards the end. He had a real good run between Valencia and Liverpool in the early 2000s though.

#1 overall seed Notre Dame loses to Indiana 2-1 today.

Not even the best team in Indiana let alone the nation, Lotz.

Better than Akron, which is all I care about.

Its a shame you care about meaningless regular season games. Here at Akron, our soccer program only cares about Championships. Maybe ND will get there one day.

Big win for IU. ND was #1, but I think most at IU consider them to still be the best program, but I still think its the biggest win in about 5 years for the program.

What a run by the former Hoosier, though.

Sucks for Porter. I was hoping they'd give him a positive note to leave on.

Meant to post this the other day, but I forgot.

Barcelona played with all youth academy players for more than half the game this past weekend. That is simply incredible. By far the best "farm" system in the world, imo.

Worthy pick, but not quite as good imo. Ill take the current crop of Barca players from La Masia over the dutch legends. Secondary players arent even close, imo. Barca wins going away in terms of quality.

2 straight matches without a goal for Chelsea. Wonder how long it is before Abramovich fires Benitez

Not a lot of defense played in the Reading v. Man United game. Five goals in the first 24 minutes. Reading up 3-2.

I had a feeling the game would end up having a scoreless second half.

At least them Red Devils were able to pull off the win and be at the top of the table!

Chelsea and West Brom go down today and Spurs beat Fulham, meaning Spurs are now tied at 26 pts with Chelsea for 3rd in the PL.

Everton tied ManCity as well, 1-1, and moves to a tie for 6th, just 3 points off of 3rd (but 3 teams are on 26 pts).

Basically, Dempsey and Howard in good positions for 2nd half runs to play in the CL next season.
