I would love it, despite the fact that we would be giving up a very solid arm from the future rotation. If we get a player (not a rent-a-player) I would be 100% all in on the deal.

Their feeling was that McAllister isn't really in their long term plans as we got him essentially for free (Kearns).

Yeah, I get that. I guess its more than you can never have too much pitching, but at the same time you need to strike when you can. But look how shitty we would be if he wasnt on our team this year. Who EVER thought we would need to go this deep into AAA? Thats my only issue. But you dont expect White to be out for prolonged periods like he is, and Pomeranz should be ready by 2013. So getting a stick is definitely worth it.

This rotation with Tomlin, if he stays consistent, CC, Masterson, White and Pomeranz over the next few years should be pretty filthy.

Honestly, not a BAD inning, considering he gave up 2 runs. The pitch to Snider sucked, belt high, and Snider sucks. But other than that I can live with it all.
