This!!! Acta was smart in bringing in Masterson. This game could have gone several more innings. Keep Masterson on the game for at least 3 innings. Maybe Batista goes yard anyway. Who knows.

Acta has misued this bullpen many times this season...and it is mind boggling. The strength of this team is the pen....yet....people like Smith have been really under used. Same with R. Perez and even Pastano. Someone needs to explain to me why Durbin has logged more innings than any other reliever.

Play to win the game...even if you're down 3 or 4 runs. Comebacks of that size happen every day in baseball.

Good relief pitchers log 80 to 100 innings a season. We don't have even one guy on a pace to log 70 innings.

We can't. We suck. Anytime Austin Kearns is batting 6th in your lineup...you arn't very good. That guy couldn't buy a strike that inning and we let him off.

Ha, btw I meant bottom of first of the futures game that was on today. He IS better than Valbueno, but Acta said he doesn't want to bring him up and have him sit the bench.
