CC(fat), is going to come into this game with a chip on his shoulder since he was snubbed from the AL All-Star Team.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if he tossed a GREAT game tonight.

OOORRRRRR

The Tribe will dismantle him.

CC stated earlier in the year (when going to Milwaukee) he gets very nervous before he starts in his old stadiums. We all know what he is like when he gets nervous on the mound :D, hopefully we get that CC. I doubt it though. I expect a 3-2 type game tonight. Similar to last night minus the late runs.

Ill be at this game. Heading over from Toledo at about 3:30. Cant wait. Both games I was scheduled to go to last year ended up not happening (grandmas death and a rain out). So this is my first game since Game 5, Byrd versus Boston in 2007. Being away for college kind of sucked for getting to Tribe games.

If he does I guarantee he has a container of sour cream & onion dip to put that "chip" in hidden in his front pocket.

Didn't he strike out 13 in a complete game vs the Brewers lol? I definitely don't want that CC.

BRF shout out to good old tigerfan82! If you notice, we have reverted to using reverse psychology with our posts.

So, Go Tribe....even though we will probably lose to the bigger CC!

And here I thought saying that Duncan was my favorite player was bad! ;-)

Haha, yes. I want the nervous CC from the playoffs. I guess Milwaukee got the other nervous CC. We dont want him.

BTW, I forgot to give kudos for the opening words to this thread. It kinda reminds me of "Jesus wept". ;-)

I was there!!. Row G....50 feet down the third base line. Good thing my beer throw on Lonnie's butchered foul fly was dead on. Josh Tomlin is the GOAT. Now it's CC's turn.

Jeter hits another little girl ball that wouldn't have reached third base, this time it will be a hit.

Phelps blows the double play. Yankees up 1-0. I see Phelps being sent back down soon. Garbage. 3-0 as I type this.

Not ready for prime time full time.

I say bring up Kipnis or Valbuena to spell OCab.

That inning rests on Carrasco and Cord Phelps. They've been talking about bringing up Kipnis instead, I think this is sealing his fate. Also, Hanahan hits well vs. lefties, yet we pull him to play Phelps? Makes no damn sense Manny.

Carrasco didn't help himself tonight and had poor command. But if Phelps turns the routine DP, he's out of the inning and it's a whole different ballgame.

Asdrubal is day to day with an ankle sprain. Hopefully it doesn't linger. Really cannot afford for him to miss any time.
