Days of rest? That setup isnt going to fly. Too many off days means a longer season.

At least you can remember your teams making the World Series. The Pirates last did (and won) in 1979. I was too young to care about sports or remember this happening. I do have vivid memories of 18 straight losing seasons, which I'm hoping ends this year.

At least your CITY has titles. I still cant get over my Chicago fans bitching about the fucking Cubs every year. You have the damn Bulls, Fire, Blackhawks, and Bears (ok, they all suck also).

Man, I remember some great battles with the Pirates in the late 80s/early 90s when they had Bonilla, Bonds, Bream, Drabek, etc. The Mets and Pirates had a great, albeit short-lived, rivalry going.
